Personal Statement
Providing increased access to the play development process to African-American playwrights to whom such access has traditionally been restrained, lends greater authenticity to the meaning of “American” theatre. The Playwrights’ Inn Project is dedicated to enhancing American theatre.
Who needs play development?
Play development is the glue that holds together a writer’s methodical assembly of a structurally sound theatre narrative.
Why Paris?
